Forest Fight for Toundra

They really liked my lust hate love piece so this is sort of like that, but sort of more messed up and reminiscent of that illustrator (forgot (her?) name), where she traces little girls from magazines, makes them nude and makes very incredible illustrations with them. Though I'm sure anything with naked children running around in a not so cute manor would reference her. I was specifically asked to draw children fighting and killing each other in a forest with wolf and owl masks. Definatly up my ally, but i don't know, this still feels like a little too much for me. Can't wait to color, but I have to do lame homework now D:

Forest and fixed Owl

Here is the Kappa and Kodama piece, I don't know if I like it. I feel ify about a lot of my pieces lately. I don't think I like how "painting" it outright is I sort of want to go back to flatter colors. :/



Here is the Owl piece fixed, made his wing larger, it balances a bit better now.

More Ghost Stuff

I need to finish these up and send them out tomorrow. I forgot to mention, I have 7 gallery shows coming up. I'm so swamped I haven't put up any info, but I will as they get closer.

Owl looks LAME, A lot of stuff isn't working yet, I think when I paint it will look better. The girl has to be pushed way back and the eyes are just bleh.


This I finished, waiting for Chang to get back to me. Something isn't quite right. It lacks a punch or the mushrooms are too saturated in the bottom left corner I think.

Second Self Portrait: Octopus Intestines

Second illustrative self portrait. This was such a pain in the butt to scan.
I've not been very productive, life has gotten very tough and I'm feeling very down. This self portraits are helping me cope a bit and also will be fun to experiment with in Litho. Liquid Tusche!
